Registration Open: SHORELINE21 Workshop
March 8, 2021 — The NOAA Office of Response and Restoration’s Disaster Preparedness Program has partnered with the University of Florida Center for Coastal Solutions, the National Science Foundation, and other partners to host the Shared Operational Research Logistics in the Nearshore Environment, SHORELINE 21 workshop on April 26-27 from 9am-5pm ET.
Workshop Goal:
The goal of the workshop will be to unite field and lab research across disciplines to reduce hurricane impacts to the built and natural environments. SHORELINE21 will convene experts from wind/coastal engineering, atmospheric science, oceanography, ecology, emergency management, and crisis communications to foster collaboration across field and laboratory research directed at reducing hurricane impacts and increasing coordination.
