MARCH 7, 2022 – On February 15, 2022, the College of Charleston Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) and Environmental Science Masters Program (EVSS Program) coordinated a networking event for undergraduate and graduate students to meet with and learn from professionals working in environmental fields.
Sarah Latshaw, Southeast Regional Coordinator for the NOAA Marine Debris Program, participated and discuss her career path along with Ryan Kmetz, Director of Sustainability at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; Jennifer McCarthey Tyrrell, Engagement Manager Audubon South Carolina; Pramodh Jacob, Program Associate, Forth Mobility; and Colleen Pope, Culture, Community and Sustainability Coordinator, Burts Bees.
After short introductions by the presenters, all participants were split into breakout rooms for several short rotations and given the opportunity to engage presenters more intimately than possible in the larger session.
