Marine Debris Program Participates in Virtual Career Night for High School Students
JULY 27, 2020 — On July 20, 2020, the Marine Debris Program participated in a virtual career night panel held by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Science Consortium for their Discovery Hall Programs 2020 High School Marine Science Class.
Caitlin Wessel, the Marine Debris Program’s Gulf of Mexico Regional Coordinator, was one of five panelists who presented about their ‘non-traditional’ science careers. Each person had about 10 minutes to explain their career and the path they took to get where they are and at the end the students were able to ask questions.
