Demi provided an introduction to the Marine Debris Program (MDP), and an overview of the projects funded by the MDP in Maine and New Hampshire, including derelict fishing gear removals and proactive cigarette litter prevention initiatives.

Demi also provided an update on the recently published Gulf of Maine Marine Debris Action Plan and how partners across the region are working together to address greatest marine debris priorities over the next five years.
