The webinar had 106 participants and featured opening remarks from Representative Alan Lowenthal (CA-47). Guest presentations outlined the California Coastal Commission's new Plastic Pollution Reduction Guidance Project and the California Trash Monitoring Playbook Project. Tanya Torres, the MDP's California Sea Grant Extension Fellow, presented an overall progress update for the OLS as of the halfway point of the six-year strategy.
