DARRP Website Gets a Fresh New Look
SEPTEMBER 21, 2020 — Oil spills, hazardous waste pollution, and ship groundings are events that can leave a lasting impact on coastal communities and ecosystems. NOAA’s Damage Assessment Remediation and Restoration Program (DARRP) works with partners across the United States to hold polluters accountable for pollution and help the environment recover. The DARRP website is an important tool for sharing information about this work with the public.
This month a fresh new look for the DARRP website was released, offering improved access to all the resources DARRP has to offer. Check out our Explore Projects Map to scroll and search for pollution sites and restoration projects in your area. Our Case Pages offer detailed background information and timely updates about these projects, the News helps you stay up-to-date, and other sections allow you to learn more about the science, economics, and legal topics that fuel NOAA’s work.
This fresh, user-friendly layout will help the public more easily access information about marine pollution and engage with ongoing work-across the country and close to home.
